Simply put, ChooseYourItem.com is a classified ad web site. Visitors may visit for free. They can search for all types of automobiles, real estate, recreational vehicles, aircraft and general merchandise and services. They can search by specifics or in general.

Visitors may also place ads for items and services they wish to sell. We offer both free text ads and premium photo ads. The cost for listing a premium photo ad is a one-time fee of $30.00. The ad will be displayed until the item is sold. Each ad may have up to ten separate photographs displayed (front view, rear view, etc...)

Won't it look silly if we only have two or three listings in our classified section?

The ChooseYourItem.com classifieds use a master database for all participating sites. When one of your web visitors searches for an item, they will not only see listings that have been submitted from your web site, but also listings submitted from every other participating website around the country. In other words, you will have millions and millions worth of items available on the first day that you start.

How do we incorporate the ChooseYourItem.com web site into our existing web site?

Actually, that's not necessary. We host your cobranded version of ChooseYourItem.com on our servers. You simply place links on your web page to your ChooseYourItem.com classified sections. This saves you from having to do an expensive redesign of your web site.

Because the ChooseYourItem.com web site will have your logo and cobranding on it, your web site visitors won't even realize that the classified portion of your web site is stored on our servers, rather than on yours. We have done everything possible to allow you to "add" this new section to your existing web site with minimal expense and effort and yet make it work seamlessly with your existing site..

We allow you to link to the classified section any way that you choose. You could place text links or graphical buttons on your existing web site. You can even run your own banners! Obviously, the more you promote your new classifieds section, the more money you will make.

What is the initial cost to us and how much money will we make by adding the ChooseYourItem.com classifieds to our web site?

We charge you nothing for the cobrand -- it is a strategic partnership. There are neither setup fees nor are there any monthly fees. In fact, there are no fees whatsoever.

Your customers may list photo ads for $30.00. We split that money with you 50/50. We do deduct 6% off of the top before we do the 50/50 split in order to cover credit card fees, fraud and chargebacks. The more you promote the site, the more money you will make.

As far as how much money can be made each month, here are some examples:

If 3 customers a day list a photo ad at $30.00, the total monthly income would be $2790.
If 6 customers a day list a photo ad at $30.00, the total monthly income would be $5580.
If 12 customers a day list a photo ad at $30.00, the total monthly income would be $11,160
If 24 customers a day list a photo ad at $30.00, the total monthly income would be $22,320.

Again, we deduct 6% off of the top and then split the rest 50/50. As you can see, the potential income is staggering.

We provide online stats for you so you can check your sales totals at any time and know exactly how much money you're making.

We mail checks out each month when your accumulated total is at least $25.

Of course, not every customer is going to sell their item, but we generally allow them to list their item until it is sold. The customer has the ability to edit their ad at any time. They are free to change the price and description at will.

Who maintains the site and does all of the backend work like collecting credit card fees, approving ad submissions, customer service, etc...?

We do ALL of the work.

We take care of all the credit card approvals and transactions and all interaction with your customers.

You should also know that we approve each classified listing by hand. We purposely do this to keep people from submitting inappropriate images (i.e. pornography and other unsuitable images). We even go as far as cropping and re-focusing images that have been submitted so the site will maintain its impeccable quality. If, for whatever reason, a submission is denied, the customer's credit card is not charged.
