Description:
Get the looks, agility, and power of the last air-cooled Porsche Turbo at around half the price! This 1997 Porsche 911 Turbo was converted from a 1978 911SC with genuine exterior and interior parts. I basically bought a 1978 911 and invested $30K into it to make it a 1997 Turbo. Beautiful 18" (by 9"-front, by 11.5"-rear width) silver 996 Turbo Wheels. Guards Red exterior, black full-leather interior. Stainless steel exhaust sounds amazing. Clean title. Central power locks (no ugly door knobs), power windows, power brakes, sunroof. Aluminum-faced turbo gauges (a hard to find option even on some original 993s), adjustable aluminum pedals, 3-point anti-sway bar. Additional front-fender oil cooler added as well. The car was in the shop for over a year due to the waiting list to build the following: - Rebuilt 5-speed Porsche 915 transmission with race upgraded clutch and flywheel - Custom-built 3.1L short-stroke big-bore single-turbo motor, faster than factory-spec 993 Turbo (very fast), with no expense spared. Very fun to drive and turns heads more than new-body 911. Motor and transmission built by Noir Tech Motorsports in Whittier, CA. (12207 E. Whittier Blvd, Whittier, CA 90602 - I will give you my mechanic's number if you want to ask about the motor's details). Currently sitting in carport and has less than 2,500 miles as I just got the car back a few months ago. I hate to part with this car, but I need the cash to try to buy a house now that the market in So.
