Description:
This great performing 911 Targa was built to traverse the Autobahn and was imported to California in 1988.
This Porsche has been well cared for throughout its life. The underside shows normal wear but absolutely no rust; deterioration, or any signs of prior damage. The body is entirely metal with original panels and no filler. All seals, glass, and interior were removed before the body was taken to metal, primed and painted (base/clear) it original color about three years ago.
Her original 3.2 Liter, 231 HP inline 6 cylinder engine has been properly maintained and checks out well. All service is current. The Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection has great stable pressure and performs reliably. The engine has a high performance starter and has the Carrera upgrades, including the tensioner, shift and air box upgrades. It runs out very well, cool and with nearly none of the typical oil leaks, this Carrera is about as dry as they come.
Our Carrera cabin is leather optioned and updated with 1989 model year 12-way power sport seats. All show well but close inspection does reveal the typical wear areas and seam stress. The aftermarket CD stereo works well as do the upper and lower door mounted speakers.
So there is no misunderstanding, mechanically this Porsche is very strong and will compete with the best. Cosmetically the body is good to very good. The interior is fair to good. This car will make an excellent fun driver that get attention and provides the driver plenty of enjoyment!
