Offering a 2001 Dodge Viper GTS ACR (America Club Racer) in Deep Sapphire Blue with Silver Racing Stripes, 1 of 49 ever made. The car has never been raced and has never been exposed to rain. Very near 500 HP. 22300 miles on odometer. Generation II Dodge GTS Vipers in general, and GII GTS ACR Vipers in particular, are almost certain to appreciate much like the '63-'67 original Corvette Stingrays did. Dodge Viper production has averaged less than 1100 units per year since 1992, unlike Corvettes which since 1998 have averaged well over 30,000 units per year. The attrition rate for Vipers is rather high and the resale value of a Viper with an accident history lies solely on the value of its usable parts....there is virtually no appreciation potential for a wrecked & salvaged Viper. So as the number of registered non-salvaged Vipers goes down, the value of the accident-free cars with less than 3000 miles per year on their odometers will keep going up. The GTS ACR model is a very limited production version of an already limited production version of the Generation II GTS. As you probably know, the ACR package includes racing clutch and brakes, smooth intake tubes, 5 point racing harnesses, adjustable shocks, special alloy wheels and special "ACR" tags. Added extras on this car include brand new Michelin Pilots on rear (7/10/09) a Corsa Performance exhaust system, short throw shifter, A/C, multi-disc CD changer with premium sound system, tinted glass all around.
