Description:
I bought the car 3 years ago, but now go to school out of state and cannot work on it anymore. The car has the original 401 nailhead engine which needs some new valve guides. I have new tires on the car; they have no more than 100 miles on them. I had the driveline rebuilt and the alternator replaced since I have had the car. The brakes were also replaced, but the front brakes still squeak, which may be because the original front aluminum brake drums are warped. I have had the drums relined, but can't get rid of the squeak. The 2-barrel carburetor should be rebuilt as well, but like I say the car runs fine now. I bought the car a broken dash so the gauges are not original and neither is the dash in the car now but all the gauges work except for the gas gauge, but that is because the sender from the tank is not correct. The car is solid and is registered as a non-op because I have not been here and I dont want to pay the registration if I am not going to drive it.
