Description:
Aspen RT SuperPak car (A57 A66)(Not Super Coupe) There were 2281 RT SuperPak cars built in 77 with most of them being Automatic Non a/c cars. This is an 'optioned' car with 4-speed and a/c (a/c needs reinstalled and I have most parts). How many of these were made w/4-speed and a/c. Not many. Engine is matching numbers and is punched .030 over w/509 lift cam,with approxiamtely 35K on rebuild, don't know what else was done to motor but it can smoke em like a big block. This is NOT a Show car but has taken a few trophies and is very presentable but I consider it a ten footer. Paint job is nice but the prep worked sucked and they glassed in the fender flares and rear spoiler. Fender flares look great glassed in but rear spoiler needs help. Other than a couple paint bubbles, the only rust in this car was in the passenger floor and it has been fixed. The rest of the floors, frame & trunk are excellent. This is an excellent driver and would be an easy resto. To be a show car it would need a GOOD prep & paint job and the front seats recovered,thats it. Motor is excellent but could use valve seals as you get a little smoke when first started. New parts installed-front and rear bumpers-Dash Pad-Battery-Carb-Intake Manifold-New hoses & belts. This is a rare car and there are not many of these to be found, especially with a 4-speed w/a/c. I bought this car 22 months ago and drove it home 500 miles from St Louis, Missouri and have put approxiametly 2500 miles on it since then taking it to cruise-ins and car shows. Car is solid and runs strong. Guages-lights-am/fm radio-everything works. This car is in the Sept 2004 Readers Rides section of Mopar Muscle Magazine. PRICE is $5500.00 FIRM
