Description:
YES, this is the one you just saw a couple days ago. I went back to find the guy that had the Vette. Turns out the guy that brought me there drove in circles thinking when I was following him I would not remember were I was. Anyways, I finally found it again, and had a chance to talk to the owner and get the car pulled out. At the same time I found out the real story on the car. This is important that you read carefully. The Older man that has it now is NOT the Original owner. He bought the car off his friend in 1981 who was the original owner. The interior was already done at this point. He has had the car since 1981, in 1982 his son took the car for a joy ride at over 170 miles an hour, and blew the original motor and actually broke the speedo needle. I found this a tough one to believe, you really have to know how too drive to handle a small car at that speed. So the original motor was replaced with a 20 thousand over 454 Police Interceptor motor. After 1986 came and went he said he just thought the car was too much for him and parked it in the barn and hid the keys. Once every 6 months he does drive it around the yard, and once every 3 years he brings the car to have a vehicle inspection sticker done. After saying that the price still is $30,000, unless a close offer comes in. The car still runs and drives great he says, it does come with the 4 original rims, and it does have a rag top. He also has a 1966 427 availible for someone if they wanted to turn it back too true. The car is in great shape and won't stay for long. In 3 days we received over 100 emails on the old ad. We are Brokers for the car and can assist in Wire Transfers and Shipping. We also offer shipping to your front door. There is many more pictures of the car, and yes that is still an inch of dust on the car. Call or E-mail anytime.
