History and background: Car was built in St. Louis, MO and rolled off the assembly line on Dec. 9, 1968, so it is an early model 1969. It has always been a Cali car, so no rust anywhere. Car was bought by the father-in-law of a friend of mine in 1977, who started to restore it and never finished the project. It sat in his garage in Pomona, CA for 18 years and I bought it from his estate in Feb 1995. I have spent in excess of $42K and 10 years restoring to like new orig. condition, except for the paint color, ride height, and aforementioned additional horsepower. I have all parts/restoration receipts and a ledger showing when purchased and from whom. This car is absolutely beautiful and everything on it works as good as new.
