Description:
Older frame off restoration to return this BT7 to heritage certificate standards. Colorado red, red leather w/black piping, red wilton wool carpeting, only a few hundred miles since completion. The engine is bored .0030 over; this car is one of 1,500 original cars built with three SU HS4 carburetors. Four-speed center shift manual gearbox with overdrive also rebuilt and works flawlessly. Tri-carb Healey___s are the most desirable Healey___s to most collectors. This matching number car has had a total nut-and-bolt, body-off restoration. The body panels and chassis were dipped and soda blasted to bare metal before the new car went back together. All new parts were used when rebuilding the engine, transmission and overdrive. An all-new cloth wiring harness was installed, along with the correct heat shields. Approximately 75K was invested in this two year restoration process.
