Description:
1968 CESSNA 150H Single Engine___ Great, reliable airplane...just time for me to upgrade! SMOH: 2725 STOH: 760 TTAF: 8790 Hangared, complete logs, flies regularly, burns 1 qt oil every 25-30 hours, mogas STC, VOR/glideslope, heated pitot, IFR capable, last annual December 2009. I have owned it since August of 2003 and it has been hangared the entire time. The previous owner was a retired cargo pilot for the military who also kept it in a hangar, although I___m not sure how long he owned it for. I used the airplane to get my pilots license and since then I have been using it as a personal airplane commuting back and forth to an out of town flying job as well as flying long cross countries around the western United States. The airplane is IFR equipped including two VOR receivers and a glideslope, but I have not kept up with the pitot-static checks required for IFR flight because I use the airplane strictly as a VFR machine (the rocks are too numerous and too high, and the IFR weather is too extreme to be flying it IMC here in Northern Nevada). The engine was rebuilt/zero-timed on 7/23/94 by Teledyne Continental Motors. A top end overhaul was completed on 7/25/2002 with 1969 hours on the motor. Total time on the engine right now is 2788, and I plan to continue flying it until it sells. The airplane is fresh out of an annual inspection that was completed and signed off on Dec. 14, 2009. The last transponder check was completed on 12/18/2008, and the ELT is due Dec, 2010. The airplane also has the mogas STC. Here are the cylinder compression values for the last 6 years.
